Meanwhile, the technology to fix all of this existed — it just wasn't affordable, simple, or Indian enough. QR menus didn't support Hindi. Voice ordering didn't understand Indian accents. So we built AI Waiter from the ground up: a digital menu that works on any smartphone, a virtual AI waiter that understands Hindi and Indian English, a kitchen display that eliminates paper chits, and — most recently — the Waiter Module that gives every floor staff member a digital dashboard to coordinate with customers and the kitchen in real time.
